We have recently been asked why do we submit these sites to design galleries etc. Well although we are real proud of them and love to get our name out in the design community our main reason is very simple. We want Christian design to be viewed as excellent and for other designers and organizations to draw inspiration from the work. Historically Christian design has been cheesy, and sub standard it is our goal to be apart of raising the standard on how the church communicates through design.

Valley Creek Church located in Flower Mound, Texas is a highly innovative church lead by Senior Pastor Kevin Evans. The Creative Arts Pastor Bob Chambless engaged CMG a few months back with a vision to redesign the way people interact with VCC online. 

CMG teamed up with the VCC creative staff to produce a new site that not only effectively communicates the vision and purpose of Valley Creek Church, but also gives users enhanced functionality such as; small groups finder, volunteer opportunities, media area to download sermons, podcast, and watch video on demand. Other features include an events calendar, ecommerce store, news, and Pastor Kevin’s blog.

Integrity Music recently released a new affordable product called iWorship Flexx that gives churches the tools to provide a media rich worship experience for a fraction of the price. Integrity contacted CMG to develop a promotional site with the ability to learn more about the product, download a free sample, but most importantly be able to do a demo online that feels like the real thing.

This site was developed in ADOBE FLEX and provides users an interactive demo by utilizing true flash streaming which may not be a big deal for some but it is the only way to achieve real time interaction without having to buffer the videos.

Church Media Group was engaged to produce a micro site that promotes “The Soul of a Nation” campaign that will be ramping up in October for Life Outreach International. In The Soul of a Nation, James Robison offers 30 days of directed prayer for our future and our children’s futures. He offers 30 reflections on current events, passages of Scripture presenting a godly perspective on those events, and importantly, a prayer for God’s will to be done.
